1. Educational Content, Not Advice

The articles, videos, calculators, quizzes, newsletters, and other content on the Site are provided for general educational and informational purposes only. Nothing on the Site is investment, financial, tax, or legal advice, and nothing is an offer or recommendation to buy or sell any particular asset. The Grand Junction Gold Guy is not a registered investment adviser. Precious metals prices fluctuate, past performance does not guarantee future results, and you may lose money. You are solely responsible for your own decisions, and you should consult a qualified professional before making financial decisions.

We also buy and sell the gold, silver, and coins discussed on the Site. That commercial interest is disclosed here plainly rather than left for you to assume.

2. Purchases and Holds

The Site may let you request a hold on, or purchase, items listed in the Coin Vault. Prices for precious metals move with the market and may change without notice until an order is confirmed. The specific terms of any sale — including price, payment, shipping, and any return or cancellation terms — are those presented to you at the time of purchase or hold confirmation, which are incorporated into these Terms for that transaction. Payments are processed by third-party providers (such as Stripe) under their own terms. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to make a purchase.

3. Accounts, Newsletter, and Quizzes

Some features, such as the newsletter, quiz results, or holds, ask for your email address. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it current. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. Our collection and use of your information is described in our Privacy Policy, available on the Site.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Site in any way that:

• Violates any applicable law or regulation;
• Interferes with or disrupts the Site, its servers, or its security;
• Attempts to access data or systems you are not authorized to access;
• Uses automated means to scrape, harvest, or copy the Site's content at scale without our written permission;
• Impersonates any person or misrepresents your affiliation with anyone.

5. Intellectual Property

The Site and its original content — including text, articles, videos, graphics, logos, and the book "Real Money" — are owned by The Grand Junction Gold Guy or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may view and share links to our content for personal, non-commercial purposes. Any other reproduction, distribution, or modification requires our prior written permission. Third-party marks and content referenced on the Site belong to their respective owners.

6. Third-Party Links and Services

The Site may link to third-party websites, products, or services (for example, book retailers, market data providers, or social media platforms). We do not control and are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices. Your use of any third-party site or service is at your own risk and subject to its own terms.

Sharing to TikTok: the Site lets a signed-in customer make a short video of a coin and post it to their own TikTok account. You may use it only if you are at least 18 years old and allowed to use TikTok. You are responsible for what you post, including any caption, words and clip you add, and you must have the right to post it. Your post is also subject to TikTok's Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, Music Usage Confirmation and, where you disclose branded content, its Branded Content Policy; TikTok decides whether and how a post is published. We give you permission to use the photographs and video of a Coin Vault piece in a video you post through this feature. We post nothing to your account unless you press Post, and you can disconnect TikTok at any time from your account page.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of accuracy, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We work to keep information such as spot prices and premiums current, but we do not guarantee that any information on the Site is accurate, complete, or up to date at any given moment, and we may change or discontinue any part of the Site at any time.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Grand Junction Gold Guy will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or investment losses, arising out of or related to your use of the Site or reliance on its content, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site will not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, for the transaction giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Grand Junction Gold Guy from any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Site.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Site will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Mesa County, Colorado, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows when they last changed. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Cambist Club memberships

• An adult buys, holds and pays for every Cambist Club membership. Coins are mailed to addresses in the United States only.
• Membership has three levels, Apprentice, Journeyman and Guild Cambist, and the price is the price of the level the adult chooses. The age group, ages 8 to 12 or ages 13 to 17, chooses only the lessons and games and never changes the price. Shipping is included.
• The price of the level, monthly or for a year, is shown on the payment page before you pay, and that amount is the one you agree to. The first month of a monthly membership is half price.
• A monthly membership renews every month, on the same date, at the full price of the level, and the card you used is charged each time, until you cancel.
• A yearly plan is twelve months of the monthly price less ten percent, charged once a year. It renews every year until you cancel.
• You can cancel at any time from your account page. The membership stays active until the period you have paid for ends, and nothing more is charged after that. You can also pause the coins from the same page.
• Refunds are handled case by case. To ask about a charge, contact us through the contact page.

If a price on the club page differs from the amount on the payment page, the amount on the payment page governs.
